Samsung Alias 2, a mobile electronic ink

Clamshell type mobile screen which can be opened in both vertical and horizontal are very typical of countries like Japan, where depending on the task you want to make it open in one form or another. The Samsung Alias 2 copy this philosophy, but with a different approach with electronic ink.

Your keyboard uses this technology to display different buttons depending on what we are doing at every moment. Thus, when opened as a traditional Clamshell we show a typical cell phone keypad, while in the open image will show a QWERTY keyboard.

This allows you to adapt to the different functions offered no need for two different keyboards. Something that probably will appeal to professional users since the introduction of text to write emails or SMS will be easier.

Moreover, for these will also be very useful support RemoSync, which can synchronize email, calendar and corporate calendar. In addition, its features can only appoint the 2 megapixel camera and MicroSD card slot for up to 16 GB.

The Samsung Alias will not go beyond 2 United States, uses CDMA technology and therefore is distributed only with Verizon. A pity, because I'd like to try this keyboard with electronic ink.
