Novell and Intel are combined to promote Moblin


Earlier this year predicted that the trends for these ultra would come equipped with Android. But you still have doubts about what an operating system designed to be ideal for a mobile computer.

Could Moblin platform ideal for the ultra? Based on Linux, but also focused on portable devices, the agreement between Novell and Intel to promote its use may pose a significant boost to this system and its market share.

We had already seen how Intel Moblin has achieved a fast start and that is both ultra-functional as MIDS and the like, but Ubuntu Netbook Remix can also mean a serious rival.

This distribution, based on Ubuntu, wants to use the features of these computers, offering an interface designed for small screens. In addition, Ubuntu has recently started to provide support for ARM processors, something that will move enough in the coming days, Netbook Remix with Moblin and could present a tough battle Android.
