Models and specifications of the new microprocessors from AMD Athlon II

The range of Athlon microprocessors II models will be updated quadruple, triple and dual core manufactured in 45 nanometer processes.

The new range of Athlon microprocessors II is represented by models based on microprocessors with four cores with the code name proposed. Mentioned two models, the 605e and 600e, with a frequency range of 2.3 and 2.2 GHz, these are specially designed to save energy. With a maximum of 45 watts (let's not forget that four cores) is impressive. Another feature that is included dual memory controller and DDR3 at 1333 MHz 2 MB second level cache (no L3 cache).

In models with three cores, whose code name is Rana, the two were appointed 400e and 450e and energy efficiency are often identical to the proposed.

As for the dual-core models with code name REGOR the two names are the Athlon II 250 and 245 with frequency of 3.0 GHz and 2.9 respectively maintain a content of 65 watts TDP.

It is the Computex 2009 trade show held in Taipei, Taiwan in early June where he presented this range of chips that AMD is expected to boost the midrange desktops.
