Phenom X4 Black Edition II 955 a new member of AMD


AMD introduced a new family of processors, 45-nanometer high-performance 4 cores, the Phenom X4 Black Edition II 955 that operates at a frequency of 3.2 GHz with DDR3 support, has 8 MB cache and the multiplier unlocked for overclocking enthusiasts and it can more than double the speed of CPU (result obtained by testing with a computer for extreme cooling using liquid nitrogen and liquid helium).

Includes AMD Overdrive 3.0 where an application may be using to create profiles and adjust parameters of chips that were previously only adjustable from the BIOS.

The price of the Phenom X4 II 955 Black Edition is $ 245 which comes to compete on price with the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 and Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem.

Along with this process was the Phenom X4 II 945 (not a member of the Black Edition series) at a price of $ 225 and the Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition processor at 2.8 GHz at 65 nm and produced a price of $ 69.
