Fujitsu introduced the Fujitsu Forum 2009, a processor listed as the fastest in the world. It is said that this chip is 2.5 times faster than currently available.
Named Venus, this chip can process up to 128,000 million calculations per second and consumes one third of the energy consumed by Intel. It is now at a stage of development and it looks like we'll have to wait to see it quite in the market.
