Curious Release: Gigabyte ATi 4650 AGP


Attracted much attention the launch of this modern graphics, the ATI 4650 AGP as its name suggests use the AGP port, it has been known for some years is not used. Well this function under AGP 8x graphics that while it is true of all standard AGP is the most powerful features a yield less than the amount offered by the current PCI-Express.

The Gigabyte ATi 4650 AGP graphics will have 1 GB of GDDR2 memory, with HDMI and DVI outputs with support for DirectX 10.1. It will be possible to install multiple CrossFireX graphics. The good news is for those with an old computer that can update graphics is, of course, provided that no cree a problem with the other components and it is not possible to get the most from the chart.

While most motherboards have only PCI slots and PCI-Express, some manufacturers are releasing boards that have AGP port. The price is still unknown.
